It is with our deepest gratitude that we post these testimonials from our new owners who have aquired a Show Den dog or puppy. Thank you for opening your hearts and your homes and loving our dogs as much as we love them.

Hey Karen,

I wanted to let you know that our vet, Dr. Sprayberry, was so impressed with Blaze this morning at his check-up that he got your name and website, so he could pass it along to a family member who is looking to get a lab in the coming months. He said he was such a good looking puppy with an amazing temperament; they even threatened to take him and only allow me visitation rights:)  Dr. Sprayberry spent over an hour with us and kept saying, "I am just so impressed with this puppy."

Karen, He is the best puppy that we could have asked for. He is loving, well behaved, and oh so smart. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to have one of your puppies. He is truly a blessing to our family and we could not be happier with him!

Take care,

Aleasha

Hi Karen

I thought this was a great headshot - under the table!  Things are going well.... been a little whiny (actually quite loud - lol) when confined in the xpen....does a little better in the crate next to Rosie.  My vet gave him the lookover today and said he is beautiful - he looks pretty perfect!:-) I will work on the name and email you hopefully tomorrow.

Hi Karen,

Now that the crazy night of tornados has passed I can write to you and say thank you so much for our visit. Our family had so much fun meeting you and all of the beautiful babies. And of course let's not forget Tommy, what a ham! Great personality. We had so much fun talking about our visit on the way home. We can't wait to be back soon and take our baby home.

Talk to you soon,

Kristen

Karen,

It's hard to believe only a week ago we just got this sweet little puppy. She's already stolen our hearts. We are in love. She and the three year old lab get along great! The older one just ignores.. The first two pictures are how well 'crate training' went the first two nights, lol! But after that, we found tough love and she's been doing fantastic. Potty training is going great too! She loves her toys and her older sister Lily. She has the best temperament! Thank you again for letting us have her. What a blessing she is to our family and is fitting right in.

Stormy

Hi Karen -

We took Suzy to our vet today for an initial examination. Our vet was of course quite taken with her and after our discussion and her exam she was very pleased.

She was very impressed and complimentary as all of the extra care and concerns you have about your puppies. We reviewed our instructions with her as well, and no problems there.

I hope all the other puppies are doing well too.

Thank you -

Joan

                    ***** NEW PERFORMANCE TITLE *****

                       SHOW DENS ROCKY'S MIGHTY BO

                     CONGRATULATIONS TO LINDA & BO

BO EARNS HIS BEGINNER NOVICE OBEDIENCE TITLE MARCH 2015

Linda & Bo earning their Beginner Novice Obedience Title

Hi Karen:  I took a pretty nice photo of BO today although I forgot to stick the
ribbon in there. In addition to getting his Beginner Novice title, he got his second
leg in Rally Novice.  We are entering a show in April so I hope we finish then.   He
got his canine good citizen a few months back, but that was easy.   Debbie Bates
featured us on the command dog training page.

Tonight I started working with Madison, and I am entering her in rally novice next
month. With a little luck and lots of hard work, Showden will have 2 titled dogs in
their lineage.

I was talking to Kate last night about how much I admire your dedication to your
dogs, your profession, and the fact that you pretty much compete with larger
breeders as a one person show. It can't be easy ( and I still think you always win,
lol ).  I know how much work We put into our 4 dog house, so kudos to what you do.

Take care. I'm sure I'll run into you at another show in the future.

Linda

Maya is from out Brody x Sugar litter.

Maya lives with her family in Gainesville, FL

Karen-

Just wanted to update you on Maya. Since we picked her up in August she has been getting big! Between Brody and Sugar we are expecting she will be a good sized pup.
She has a very sweet personality and loves to play. She certainly LOVES and seeks attention. We brought her to a five week obedience program and she was the star of the group. She caught on to all her lessons the quickest and was usually used by the trainer to show everyone what they were supposed to do. She is very proficient with sit, lay down, stand, wait, leave it, stay, up, and off. Well, mostly proficient. She has a little stubborn streak and will sometimes decide she doesn't want to listen! We will be bringing her to a stage 2 obedience class in October.

We love her so much and are so happy we were able to get such a wonderful pup from you!

Take care!

Paul and Jessica

Hi Karen;

Thought you would enjoy seeing a picture of Luca at 18 weeks old.  When I took her
for her first vet visit the Doctor asked if her parents were show dogs. That made my day.

Anyway, she's a super healthy 44 pounds and growing.  Super disposition, she is with
me at my feet all day while I'm working.  She walks me 3 times a day, and most
mportantly, she loves everyone.  We took her to puppy school where she did great.
Next week we start agility.  Or, should I say "she starts agility,"  I'm going to
try my best to keep up!

Thanks again.

Hi Karen,

Thanks again for letting us spend so much time with the pups and for recommending
Hefty/Bo. We talked on the way home and are sure he will be the best fit for us
(although we wanted them all).   I loved Rocky and his really fun personality. With
a dad like Rocky and a mom like Georgia, we will have the best puppy anywhere.  We
will give him a great home. I attached a really cute photo of him. It actually
looks like the one you have on your website.

Linda

Hi Karen,

Bo is doing really well, although he did his share of crying last night.
He doesn't seem to care for the pen.  The housebreaking is going really well. Thanks
for the Head start.

Linda

Hi Karen,

This is another update on Bo. He is doing well.  I had him in the Kiddie pool today.  He absolutely loved it.  Infact, it energized him.  He is slowly adjusting to the crate, and the water bottles are perfect.  Now on to the leash in a few days.  He is so sweet.  I can't wait to take him places.

Thanks again for everything.

Linda

Lucian is from our Turbo x Ruby litter

Lucian lives with his owner in Ft. Myers, FL

Hi Karen,

Lucian is wonderful!!!! He already knows his name. We are still working on crate training but I'm not rushing him. He really likes to jump in and out of the shower. Even when it's NOT bath time :) I just can't thank you enough. He is so great.

Thanks

Zabrina

Hi Karen,

I know you probably get this a lot from the people who purchase puppies from you but
thanks. Lucian is just wonderful! My dog trainer can't believe how quickly he learns, retains what he's already learned and he is constantly watching me instead of loosing focus like the other puppies.

Anyway, thanks again for everything

Zabrina

Dear Karen,

My name is Anna Wallén and I found your website through van Dalen Labradors. I absolutely "fell in love" with Tommy. What a handsome boy!!!!

When I read through your testimonials yesterday, I realized that I could have written the same letter that "Jill" did (see Jill's letter below). Just some "minor" changes - my husband, son (Marcus, 8 yrs old) and I live in Atlanta and we had to say goodbye to our 15 and 16 year old  beloved furry friends (kids really) only a couple a months apart early last year. It was tough, but we are dog lovers, and we are now ready to open our hearts again to a new friendship and adventures. Before I get too excited and start rambling on about our family and previous dogs, do you still take reservations on the Tommy x Sugar litter due in August? We are interested in a male puppy.

Many thanks,

Anna

Hi Karen,

Just wanted to let you know Charley is doing great! She has been such a joy. We have had a great week getting to know each other and I just love her. She is such a sweet girl. She has been walking, playing fetch...playing with other dogs and even went for a swim!! I have taken her downtown to breakfast a few times and she just sits at my feet like such a good young lady. She is a fast learner and oh so smart!!! Thank you again. I will keep you updated.

Dear Karen,

My name is Jill and I have been researching Labrador breeders for the
past few months. I lost my 14 year old Chocolate Labrador 2 1/2 years ago.
As with most dog owners after their pet passes they replace them quickly. I
am not like most dog owners. My heart was broken & I didn't want to take on
a new puppy unless I knew without a doubt that my heart was open to love a
new dog. I have been looking for a specific look and temperament with my
next Labrador.  Finding "Chip" was dumb luck! He was an English bred
Labrador with many show champions in his pedigree. I have searched the
country for a specific look in a Labrador. My heart was set on a chocolate
until I came across your website. I fell in love with the look of your labs
& the detail in which you described your breeding program. My husband & two
daughters, Peyton (8) & Laney(7) live in Stevenson Ranch California. I am a
stay at home mom with a large yard & pool. We had a reef built into our
pool so "Chip" could get in and out of the pool as he aged. I don't believe
that animals should be left outside to become after thoughts for the
family. I know it is very important that children have a dog & companion in
their lives. I am also aware that properly training your pet is an
investment you must make. I trained "Chip" with the help of a professional
dog trainer who came twice a week and gave me the tools to train & praise
my dog. I would love to speak with you regarding a future litter after the
first of the year. If you have planned litters for 2012 I would be very interested.

Sincerely,

Jill

Hi Karen,

Dixie is a wonderful puppy- very calm, quite smart, and amazingly perceptive. Belle took to her immediately and they have become inseparable buddies. I take both of them for a short walk together in the morning and evening, and she is becoming comfortable swimming in the pool.  Although she is only 10 weeks old today, it feels like she has been part of the family much longer. Tomorrow I will be taking her to our vet’s Puppy Kindergarden- a 7 week class for socializing and teaching them all the basics. We love her so much.  I will send more pictures soon.

Best regards, Marsha

Hi Karen & Kathy!

Just wanted to let you know that Trinity made it to Naples!   She slept most of the way!   She and Bobby are getting along great.......they are sniffing each other and slowly getting to know each other.   I will give you a full report in a few days. Talk to you soon! Thanks.

Hi Karen,

We did make it back safely Friday night. She was WONDERFUL in the car, and Mike joked that she was more tolerant of the 8 hr drive than I was, lol. We've named our little girl, Mia, and have had so much fun with her these past few days. She constantly keeps us laughing. She is also picking up basic commands SO quickly, she is such a smart dog! We absolutely love her. We really enjoyed meeting you and Kathy, I hope you'll let us know if you're ever in Tallahassee! I'll attach a couple of Mia's latest pictures! She is too photogenic!! =c) Although you will probably notice her nose looks spotted, that's just water, she still loves playing IN, rather than drinking from, her water bowl, lol.  Hope the rest of the puppies got off to their new homes well.

Hi Karen:

Peaches is great!  She is going potty in the yard and did not cry last night, sleeping next to her new sister, Pinkie.  We bought a playpen and while she prefers to be free, she is OK with it. Besides loving her food and treats, she loves to stay inside the house. You did an excellent job because she really is getting the hang of the potty training, comes when we call her and is very socialized.

Thanks for all your support.

Hey Karen,

Well we all made it home safely, it took us about 41/2hrs. with stopping and resting. The puppy did great! We love him! He is bringing so much joy to our home. He is so so so cute! We love him and can't take our eyes off of him, he is bringing us so much joy. He is doing great-he loves my cold floors!

We have decided to name him Max and he is responding to his new name along with puppy.

We will keep you all posted on his progress-he is such a blessing to us! Thank you for everything.

Dear Karen,

First of all, let me start by saying that I am so in love with her.  She throws her paws around my neck and kisses my lips and I am in Heaven.  She is a wonderful girl.  Luna and Lilly didn't fit her. Barry decided we should pay tribute to Rocky and so we named her after her father - Roxy. We are doing well with the house training-she doesn't like the grass too much. Prefers the patio, but I will have the grass cut today and maybe that will be more to her liking.  We had our vet check up this morning and she was a star. We showed Dr Dee Rocky's photos and he couldn't get over how gorgeous he and his daughter are.

All the best-

Robin

Hey Karen,

Hope you guys are doing well. Mia is fantastic, adorable and we couldn’t love her more!! Here are some new photos! This is not only one of my favorite ‘Mia’ shots, but one of my favorite ‘Labrador’ shots, what gorgeous dogs you breed!!

Lindsey

Hi Karen,

Yesterday I indicated that I would like to be placed on the list for a female puppy out of Hailey’s litter due in early April. Based on what I have seen on your website, I am very excited about the possibility of getting one of your puppies.  I am willing to wait until June for the right puppy. Thank you for your time and patience.

Marsha

PS: There are so many lab breeders on the internet, but so many of their websites either read like used car salesmen or just don’t provide any information. You have one of the best websites I have seen.
